My brother in law and I decided to start a small registered herd with relatively little experience. This would have been a recipe for disaster had it not been for Bill and Chelsea at Valli-Hi Angus. Bill had done my custom hay for several years and I knew I could trust him. He said that he would help me learn along the way and that if I needed help he would give it. He has absolutely delivered on that promise. He helped us every step of the way through our first year; calving, registering animals, vaccinating, he even let us bring our bulls back to his place to collect weaning weights on our first calf crop. Bill didn't have to do all those things just to sell a few cows. I believe he did it because he is a good man who wants to see people succeed in this business. When you talk to Bill and Chelsea you can tell that they are both passionate about what they do, and it shows in the quality of their cattle. Valli-Hi cows are maternal, docile, have great udders, and most importantly raise high quality healthy calves. One of the first thing's I learned in this registered business is that EPD's are only 1 part of how you judge a cow, but the seedstock that Bill and Chelsea are producing at Valli-Hi Angus is the complete package.
